Lincoln City FC Centre of Excellence

The Football Association/Football League approved Centre of Excellence provides coaching for over 100 of the best local players from under 9 through to under 16. Specialist goalkeeper coaching, guidance on diet, injury treatment and gym programmes are also provided.

Over 1000 hours of coaching a season is provided by FA qualified part-time coaches; next season we will have a classroom to add to our facilities Over the last four years more than three quarters of our Scholarship players (u17/18 Youth Team) have come from the Centre; 10 of those are currently in the first team squad.

In addition the captain of Liverpool reserves (Jack Hobbs); FA Cup semi-finalist (Scott Loach at Watford); a Wales u21 international (Owain Warlow) and a republic of Ireland B international and player in the League Two team of the season (Lee Frecklington) have come from the Centre.
